Artist Space Call-Out - 13 Oct 2026

Union Church Margate is looking for an artist to take on one of our two studio spaces, on a skills-swap basis.

Are you a low-income artist looking for affordable studio space? Do you have time but not money? This could be for you.

We’re offering a studio space free of charge, in exchange for four hours of volunteering a week at the church. Ideally you’ll be able to help with:

• Thursday mornings at our toddler group, or Fridays at our craft and lunch club
• One Sunday a month, 10am–12pm, supporting the AV desk during the service
• Ad hoc jobs such as cleaning, painting, gardening and general maintenance
• No religion needed, just plenty of enthusiasm. A DBS check is required for this role.
