Union Church Margate would reassure all users that we follow best practice in ensuring that all those who attend our church are kept safe.

All our officers have attended safeguarding training and, where they are dealing with vulnerable individuals, have undergone appropriate DBS checking.

Raising Concerns

If you have any concerns or wish to discuss your feelings about any form of abuse, please contact the appropriate individual or agency on the linked poster for further help and advice.

To contact Union Church about a safeguarding issue, please use the address safeguarding@unionchurchmargate.org Messages sent to this address will be treated as confidential unless information is given that leads to the reasonable assumption that an individual is at immediate risk of serious harm, whereupon Union Church reserves the right to make the appropriate limited disclosure that may be necessary to avert this outcome.

Thanks so much for all your help in keeping everyone safe and in dealing with abuse which - as recent sad events at the CofE have shown - still remains an ongoing problem in Christian church circles.
